Making a Equilateral Triangle picture frame

I want to cut a picture frame (butt to butt)I have 3 wood strips 3x8x2x24 inches I tried making 60 digree cuts that only worked for lapin over the 2 pcs. can you help thanks marty

A equilateral triangle (Isoceles) has 3 angles that are 60 degrees each. To cut two pieces of wood divide the 60 degrees by 2, you get 30 degree angles.

i.e. a mitered corner is 90 degrees you cut each piece of wood 45 degrees.
