When we flush the toilet it sounds like a train is going through our room. What causes this and how can we fix it? The other toilets in our house are not as loud.
Thanks!

Hi Castle6,
Noisy toilets are the result of water going through the pipes or the insides of the toilet. You may need to change your ballcock assembly, which controls the water inside the tank.First, try adjusting the shut-off valve at the toilet.Pressure too high or too low can make all kinds of noise. If you happen to have the newer flush tank(no water visible in tank..just a big black thing)then it will sound louder than older models, but sounds more like a jet instead of a train.
