Having moved into a 20 year old split entry a few weeks ago I have just begun to notice a bad sewer gas odor coming from 2 metal vent caps in my driveway. They are about 4 inches in diameter and 4 feet from the garage doors. The smell comes in the bedroom windows above the garage if they are open. Can I seal the vent caps or how do I stop the smell. It's worse when it was warm all day then cools off at night.
Where do I start???
