I Just moved into a cape cod with a forced hot air system. When the heat goes on, it's really noisy in the room above the furnace. I'm hoping when the carpet comes, it will muffle the sound. Can anything be done to reduce the noise, it sounds like a Mack truck is in the room. thanks.
