For a basement bathroom I am considering using a Sanipack or Sanipro macerating/pump system as opposed to breaking up the concrete to install a sump type system. Apparently these Sanipack Sanipro systems have been in use in europe for 35 years. Has anyone heard anything good or bad about these type of systems? How often do they break & can you get them fixed?

whether they are good or not is indeed 2nd to the fact if they are approved under the plumbing code for your area
