I am building a 16 inch walnut steering wheel for a vintage automobile using the original as the prototype. It's constructed from 6 pieces, joined together with ONE inch deep tongue/wedge groove joints. Anyone know how to make such a joint? Appreciate your thoughts! Thanks

Couple of ideas on this. Check out Feb 2004 issue of Woodworkers Journal for idea on a 'shop built' jig or Tenoning Jig.
