The plumber put in new shower controls in both bathrooms; now what do I attach to the studs before re-tiling? Some sort of water-proof drywall or something? Please help.
You want to use a product called WonderBoard. Which is a fiberglass reinforced cement board. It's both waterproof and a perfect base for tile. Don’t use greenboard which is water resistant drywall.
