Bvplumbing
I recently purchased a cottage in Canada that has a well---The pump is 43 years old a real beauty. It works but I want to replace with a new one. What should I replace it with? A combination pump/tank or should I add a bladder tank to the system? Demand for water is two faucets 1 Shower and one toliet two outside spigets. One of my concerns is matching exsisting galvinized piping to a replacement pump? Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks

If this is an old piston pump I would not replace it if it is working. Mine is at least 50 years old and I would not change it for new jet pump. I change the leathers every few years and it never gives me any problems. Primes easy also every spring.
