apparently there are two types of units that are used to treat well water if it is found to be too acidic. One type of unit uses limestone chips (calcite) over which the water flows, the other uses an injection system where some sort of hydroxide chemical is injected into the water stream as it goes by. what are the pros and cons of each type? thanks for your help.
