Am looking for plans to construct and build a wooden smoke house. Am planning on using cedar and cypress planking for the interior.
Am planning on smoking homemade Andouille sausages, Tasso (Cajun ham), fish, various meats, etc etc etc
I live in the bay area of California and have a large back yard where I’m going to build the smoke house.
Just need some good plans
Anyone with any good ideas or plans ????
Thank you for your time

Please advise!! We are searching forwhom might sell the Siding Products that look just like Fieldstone or River Rock..however, they come in sheets, and we believed them to be vinyl. We saw this years back on one of the This Old House Episodes with Bob Vila...we have tried searching the net with no luck. Again, this product is sold in sheets. Thank you kindly ...
Please advise!! Help us to locate Faux River Rock or Fieldstone Vinyl Siding Sheets. We are in search of the product name, and were we can obtain this item. Home depot, and Lowes do not carry. However, they come in sheets, and we believed them to be vinyl. We viewed this years back on one of the "This Old House" Episodes with Bob Vila...we have tried searching the net with no luck. Again, this product is sold in sheets. Thank you kindly ...fawn@taconic.net
I have seen windows that can change from frosted to clear and the flip of a switch. Does anybody know who makes them or where I can find them?
I've been looking for the faux fieldstone too. Eric from info@rockandwater.com suggested looking under cultured stone and there it was. Try http://www.owenscorning.com/around/exteriors_new/stone.asp . Thanks again Eric.

Just a quick letter to say thank you for all you help...I believe this is the siding we too have been looking for over the years..take care now...fawn
That was never featured on Home Again. It must have been a project
from This Old House. However, I have done some research and found out
a little bit about how these windows work. Liquid crystal is inserted
between two sheets of glass. When a switch is flipped the liquid
crystal is heated up causing the window to become opaque. The cost is
quite high -- somewhere around $300/sq. ft. plus the cost of the
conductor. For more information call Classic Glass at 800-660-1214.
They have information on the product which they would be happy to
send out to you.
