We Purchased a queen size bedroom set and were unable to take the box spring upstairs. It doesnt fit. We want to build one for need help on how to build one.

I have a friend who had this problem, and had noticed some of the new box springs came in two pieces. The box springs are basically a base or support so you might think of cutting yours in half. If you're capable of building one from scratch, cutting one in half should be a breeze. I'm sure you'll need to add some supports in the middle where you cut, and obviousally look first and plan your cut in between the springs.
