my water heater started leaking out the overflow pipe. It started after the downstairs toilet kept running and the upstairs toilet started leaking out the lower connection. Now seems I have leaks everywhere. Please help!

It is recommended to periodically "trip" the relief valve to check the operation of the valve and clear sediment and /or debris. If the relief valve does not stop leaking after a manual trip, replace it.
