What are the pros & cons of polished nickel versus satin nickel versus chrome for faucet finishes. And, has anyone had experience with Giagni faucet?? Thanks, Kristy

I did a search for you on Giangi and came up blank. Are you in The USA? Polished vs. Nickel basically is just a preferance to the finish. Kinda like polished brass or satin brass. It's a matter of choice. Obviously you will pay more $$$ for a "finished" look faucet. Nickel is actually an element that can be plated onto the faucet.

matte finishes typically last longer than shiney....your faucet is most likely made by a small company that buys parts from another faucet manufacturer (typically cheap) and dresses the units up and sells for high prices. one of the most expensive faucets (designer) out of new york (typical lav. faucet 1200.00) used a cheap faucet base from another company and "tarted" it up and re-sold as a designer faucet. stick to national brands to insure parts avail. later. erik

I am thinking of purchasing the Giagni faucet and wondered how you liked yours. Thanks
