smell in kitchen sink

We have a musty-moldy smell from our drain in the kithen sink. it's a double sink, we are not on a well,septic. the house is approx. 20 yrs . we have tried (at separate times) drano, javax, baking soda, but the smell is still there. any suggestions would be apprececiated. thanks

Sometimes food particles can lodge in the rubber hoses associated with the drain from the d/w. If this is the case then you will need to disconnect the drain hose from the G/D and wipe it out with an old rag soaked in vinegar.

We only get sewer gas smells coming from the kitchen sink when the dishwasher runs. It's so bad we need to keep the plugs in the sink. The dishwasher is 10 years old. We've never had this problem before in the last 3 years. Any thoughts?
