I have a gas meter that is located inside a lower kitchen cabinet. The house is built on a slab on grade, therefore, having no basement the builder decided to tuck the gas meter inside a kitchen cabinet. Fortunately, the meter is also very close to an exterior.

Is it possible to move the gas meter to the outside of the house? Would this be possible job for a licensed plumber? Help?

It should be possible to meve the meter to the outside. I think the gas company would be the one call for that. At least that is where I would start.
