does anyone know the rule for location of propane tanks. I thought the rule was that the tank could not be closer than 3 feet from an operable window and 10 feet from an ignition source.

I'm a city plumber and have limited experience with propane. I don't want to take time now to find the distances. You may post your quetion on terrylove.com and/or plbg.com. They are plumbing repair sites and deal with propane questions.
