I have an old 29" shower stall. The base is plastic and seems to be sound but the walls are rusting in places. Is there a liner I can use to replace the walls? What are my other options since a larger stall will not fit in the small space?

Thanks,

Shower walls usually do not rust. Are yours plaster? Covering up bad walls usually does not work in showers. You need to go down to the studs and rebuild with sheating and tile or wall kit. Some kits can be trimed to size. You could also have a ceeramicv tile base built or order a man made base to fit your installation.

Thanks Lonny. It is actually a shower made with metal walls which are rusting in some places. The walls are screwed to a vinyl or plastic base which seems to be in good shape. I am just wondering what my options are and how I might find vinyl walls of the same size to replace.

Usually the metal showers had a metal or concrete base. Your's must not. Hopefully someone will post if they know of someplace to get these walls. My problem has been the curves in the corner of the base instead of a 90.

Thanks again Lonny. It's definitely metal walls, it was installed in the early 1970's, the walls had a shiny white enamel but that has rusted through in places. I am wondering if I could cut 32" walls to fit.

If your corners are not a 90, have you tried making some pocket walls in each corner?

What are pocket walls? Do you have straight corners in yours?
