We had a new shower installed last summer. It has a single faucet control. But the water only gets warm if we turn it all the way to hot. Anything less is just cold. Is there any way to adjust it to allow more hot water? Thanks,

The temperature limiting valves do so by locating an adjustable stop to prevent the hot from coming all the way one. This is easy to do with the Delta's. You do not need to shut off the water.

Remove the handle and observe the notched partial C part. Relocate it to the left so that the hot can come on more. I cannot tell you to discard it.

The colder incoming water during this season results in the pre-set mix of the water temperature to be colder. Many are needing to adjust the valve. Some are mistakenly replacing their water heater thinking there is something wrong with it.

Thanks Tim for your question on a problem that many are having difficulties with.

Thanks Lenny. I am looking at the knob or handle and wondering just how to remove it. I don't see anything that keeps it in place. Does it just pull off?? I don't want to break anything.

I have discovered that there is a cap on the plastic handle that just pops off, and then there is a screw to remove before you can adjust the mix. I think I got it set properly now so we have hotter showers! And I answered my own question..
