Bvplumbing
I have to install new plumbing for our tub and shower. I got the single control fixture and I notice there is a "tee" on it with four threaded fittings. Since I will be running new copper pipe to it, it seems to me I will have to attach four copper female adaptors to the threaded fittings and then solder them together. I don't like this approach as I won't be able to check the threaded fittings for leaks until everything is soldered in place. What's a good way to proceed here? Am I using the right approach? Is plumber's putty the thing to use on the copper fittings? How much putty do I use? Thanks,
