I am renovating my bathroom. since I have walls open I want to rough in a pipe for a future sprinkler system. All of my pipe is 1/2" copper. It appears all sprinkler valves are 3/4 or 1". Should I use a 3/4 to 1/2" reducer inside the wall to extend outside or just leave it 1/2" copper?

If its just for the bathroom, you can probably get by with a 1/2 inch line. It really depends on your water pressure though. If its really low, you should probably go with a 3/4 inch line.

Good Luck
