The never ending saga.....

I sent pictures of my seat to daniela at Laufen and she says they used to make them but now it is Roca in Brazil that produces them. She gave me someone to contact at Roca and I emailed asking for info on a Canadian distributor as I am just outside Toronto. Marco at Roca was very helpful and gave me two contacts . I knew it would be bad when I was having so much trouble finding the manufacturer of the mystery toilet seat. I found a place just 10 minutes from my house where I could get a new seat. But I never thought a new seat would cost $80 freakin dollars..... Should be gold plated for that price...For a couple more bucks I can put in a whole new toilet.....

Victoria, could you share the source of your toilet seat, even if expensive. I too live in the Toronto area.

I too am searching for the same style toilet seat...interested in how you got on with the search...been all around the houses trying.

would really like a solid wood or plastic one to replace the MDF type supplied from new.

I am also looking for this mystery toilet seat, but just the hinge assembly. Would any of you people have the old hinge assemble or know where I could get one? The assembly is chrome with pins.

Eljer makes an equivalent toilet seat to the Incepa Hampton. Go to their web site at www.eljer.com and search for Savannah (Model Name) under toilet seats. The Model Number is 124-1900 (-00 white, -82 Natural/Bone, -96 Biscuit). Eljer's web site will also show you distributors in your area. I purchased several seats from Sydney Plumbing Supply in Providence, RI tel: 401-944-0200 for $50.84 + tax.
