I have two showers in my home. One shower works fine--great water pressure and great hot water. In the other, the water comes out hot at the bathtub tap. However, it comes out of the showerhead lukewarm. What is causing this loss in temperature?

Thanks!

It sounds to me like there is a temperature control valve someplace on either the riser or inside the faucet. You might have had some valve installed at one time by a previous owner. It could also be that there is a problem inside the valve with a pressure sensative control or a temperature adjusting control.

Good Luck
