I have a sink with the mark of "thos maddocks sons co" and also haines, jones, cadbury company (hajoca) stamped on the bottom. My problem is when i took the original mixer out of the center there are two small holes (3/4") one in front of the other, instead of one hole. the front hole has a hook rod for the drain and is completely enclosed in the porcelain. the back hole is for the water supply from two seperate handles. Any idea where to find a faucet that will fit this or can it be safely drilled.

There are a number of sites on the internet that supply replacement parts for these old style faucets.
