We have a black toilet bowl in one of our bathrooms. Recently, the seat cover broke. However, the seat on this model is unusual in shape (it is rectangular not oval). So standard replacements are not fitting. The brand name is Cidamar. Has anyone heard of this brand? Or can anyone direct me to a website where I might look for a replacement seat for this nonstandard shape? I tried googling - no luck so far. thanks a lot.....

The square toilet seats have always been a problem, I have found a couple at places like www.plumbingsupply.com and other used plumbing suppliers. Try antique plumbing on the internet. The real problem is the black color. You may have to either have it made, or change the toilet to a black Kohler or American Standard round or oval front. You may find the inconvenience of trying to find this toilet seat isn't worth the cost.

Good Luck
