HI: I recently moved into an old house. I am doing the remodeling myself and well I am very new at this stuff :) Is there anyway to paint an old tub, I just can't afford to replace it, it is in good shape but a really ugly green color. Is there anything I can do? Thank you very much for any help.

There are several companies that advertise painting tubs. However, I have never seen a recoating system that looked good a year later. You may be sorry you didn't leave it alone. Homeowner applied paints perform even more poorly. Consider a green theme in the bathroom or buy a new tub.

Yea I was afraid of that. Thank you for responding to my question. I will just have to decorate around the color. IT is a really ugly green :( but I will work something out :)

Thanks Kari
