Air in Hot Water Line
Tags:
Plumbing
I could use some advise as to how air gets in the hot water lines, (Kitchen, bath).
Hot Water heater is on year 7 of a 10 year life, with no leaks.

All fresh water contains oxygen if the water temp is high it can boil and thus release the oxygen.
Also some places aerate a lot more then others and that can account for excessive "air"
Also the anode maybe failing.
Time to replace the heater is approaching.
