LisaMoody - hi, you need to provide more info on this one if you want some expert help. I'm not a plumber but here's what I'd want to know...was it working before? Are you on well or city water? Have you had anyone working on your plumbing recently?

Is water trying to fill in the tank? (If so, then the stopper isn't seating properly and all the water's just draining away.) If there's no water filling in the tank, then the water supply to the tank has been turned off or somehow blocked. Is the valve for the fill line open - it should be the little handle on the line that comes out of the wall. If that's on, then you'll need to trace the pipe back and see if you've accidently turned it off elsewhere. Maybe it's connected to an outside spigot line that you've turned off for the winter. I hope some of this may help you...but the more details you can provide (like did the water stoppage just happen, and what you've tried/checked so far) will allow the expert plumbers here to help you out. Good luck! Jim D/West Point, VA
