This is a new washer/new doublewide trailer.

I have an aerobic sewage system. The laundry room has a distict sewage smell when the washer is in operation. This is the only place in the house this is noticeable.

I have looked in the pipechase and there is a p-trap with no leakage. I cannot see the break to the vent pipe so can only assume its working. There is no problems with the washer's discharge draining.

Any ideas?

You don't have a maytag front-loading washer by any chance?

We were getting a bad smell with ours and had to replace the door gasket which was covered in black mold just a week ago. Unit was out of warranty by 2 months and $300 repair bill. DON'T buy MAYTAG!!

Besides checking the trap did you check the vent pipe for a possible obstruction?

Do you hear a gurgling sound when the washer discharges?

I hope you did not use one of the AAV's
