My toilet is dripping in the back and on the sides of the bowl from underneath the rim. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to stop the problem?

Sounds like a condensation situation.
When cold water is flowing or even standing like ice in a glass of water there is a condensation build up on the out side of the glass do to the ambient temperature being warmer and this same condition happens on china if for example.
1- The tank bulb, flapper is not seating properly on the Douglas valves and allows water to pass.
2- The diaphram/piston assemble of a flushometer is defective.
3- Not enough free air for venting of the bathroom
4- Excessively warm bathroom and toilet used a lot
5-Ball **** device is allowing water to enter the over flow tube thus allowing continues water waste and this cold water will also cause the china to sweat.
Depending on the brand of toilet you have and the internal parts and the type of water inlet device such as a flushometer/400A fluid master / ball **** / flushometer and which brand determine which parts you need to replace or adjust
