I have recently added an in-law apt. to my basement and used an upflow toilet system for the bathroom that can handle 2 sinks, tub, and the toilet. I have the required pipe sizes for the vents,( lavaratory, kitchen sink and tub). the upflow tank uses a 3" vent. I am getting all the proper drainaige except the tub. the tub drain had to have about a 2" incline to the upflow system. so the tub drain is 2" lower than the tank, so im not getting complete drainaige out of the tub. if i cap off the vents except the upflow vent, will that cause the tub to syphon and completly drain?

The only fix is to either raise the tub or lower the tank in the sewer injector unit.
BTW that is not an upflow toilet. An upflow toilet uses a syphon jet and it is luckly to discharge it's only waste and can't handle anything else.
My guess is that you have a unit similar to this one.
