I just bought a house and during the home inspection the inspector didn't notice there was no cold water in master shower. It has a single faucet and I've removed the plate. All the pipes seem to be accounted for. What could be the problem?

You hired a home inspector not a professional licensed master plumber. NOW contact the home inspector and ask him /her for their insurance carriers number so they can make good for the repairs the inspector missed.

Most people have the brains to carry general /professional liability insurance in case they miss something during an inspection.

I have collected thousands of dollars for clients that used a home inspection person that missed lots of problems that should have been picked up.
