I have three toilets in my home. In one, the water that fills the tank is far too hot. What can I do to correct this?

- Mixing valve failed

- Stratification of the hot into the cold water lines as heat goes to the absence of heat

(HVAC STUFF)

- Cross connection like a shower head or an older type of Moen shower body

- Washing machine solenoid valves not holding

- Installation of hot water heater wrong as they did not allow a heat sink

- Check all faucet connections to make sure there is no HW by passing into CW lines

- Cold water lines not separated properly from the heating or hot water ones and having transfer of heat by being to close

- Hot water heater not piped in according to instructions
