hello. i've had a problem with my shower, toilet, and sink the past couple of days. the water gathers in the shower and drains, but very slowly. when i turn my sink on the water in the toilet rises. the toilet keeps overflowing when flushed. when turning on the shower, the toilet water rises. i first thought there was a clog, but i used a draining fluid and it did not work. i would like help as to what i do. the bathroom was added to our home about 15 years ago and has its own water heater. help please! thank you.

What you have is a partial stoppage and in my case once I find out someone used chemicals to clear the lines I have to charge them a "chemical fee" of $50 more then the normal drain cleaning.

One of my ex employees was almost blinded when someone had used a drain cleaner and failed to tell him and it splashed up.

Thankfully he decided to sue them rather then go for compensation under my insurance.

Have your main house trap checked and the main sewer / house drain and warn the plumber that you used chemicals
