Have had trap replaced on tub. Now cotinuous sewer smell from drain. Any suggestions?

1- Was the vent connected when the trap was replaced?
2- Was the trap installed level or possibly pitched with allowed the trap seal to be lost?
3- When the trap was replced did the installer snake the lines (vent and waste) as this was the perfect time to do it.
4- Was the proper sized trap installed?
