The problem is the disposer is not allowing the vent to do its job ,very common problem.

I would suggest do as I do in my home and turn on the water and then the disposal without allowing an excessive amount of water to accumulate in the sink.

Try filling the other sink to the top and letting the water down and listen for a gurgling sound, this would indicate a possible stoppage or bad venting condition
