Have removed tub from bathroom and want to replace with a 3 piece shower. Shower drain is in center and tub drain is on one end. The floor is cement slab. How do I hook up the drain so that it is in the center and what size drain pipe do I need to use and can I use PVC pipe? If not what is recommended? Appreciate any help given. Thanks.

A tub waste is 11/2" and trap diameter a shower waste and trap is 2" diameter.

Besides relocating the waste line and trap one has to take into consideration the placement of the vent.

Materials used would depend on local code
