I decided to upgrade my kitchen faucet for no particular reason, along with my sink, garabge disposal and hoses. I purchased two brand new faucets and they both dripped from the spout afer I installed them. First I tried a ball type faucet and then a cartidge type. Both had a slow drip from the spout. I was thinking about maybe putting some silicon grease around the washer that is in the spout (the rubber washer that is on the screen). Any suggestions? Thanks

Dear Mr. Bigdude,
I have said this before I will say it again, if you can truly say that you have not disassembled these faucets. Take them back and exchange them for ones that work properly and correctly.
I am sorry you have to go through the hassle but you are the consumer and you should demand and expect perfection for your hard earned money. If you purchased them from a big box retailer, I would start screaming at the Manager or Dept head for some compensation and start voicing your displeasure.
Sincerely,
Jim
