We have an old house that has cast iron pipes coming into the house through the slab. How do we connect PVC to the cast iron for the tub?

We are remodeling our bathroom and have to move water and drain lines. The existing drain lines are all cast iron. Is there fittings to go from cast iron to pvc? If so Can I just cut the old cast iron out and run pvc from that point on to where the bathroom is?

Thanks in advance

Why would anyone who has quality cast iron want to ruin the system by installing PVC is beyond my comprehension.

Yes there are adapters Mission couplings or No Hub couplings BUT check your local codes first
