When I run the water in my kitchen or bathroom sink the water backs up into my bath tub, my bath tub will eventually draun but it takes a long time. What is causing this to happen?

You have a blockage in your main line after the point where the bathtub connects.

What you have is a BRANCH line semi blockage. as the water will trickle down eventually

Easiest way to clear this type of stoppage is snaking through the basin waste NOT the tub.
