Bvplumbing
When either hot or cold water flows from the toilet, shower, or basin, I get a knocking noise from my pipes in the floor as the water drains. Also both of my upstairs toilets flush much slower and without as much power as they should.

This is not, or at least in my opinion, that old of a home as it was built in 1989 with PVC plumbing.

Could it be my plumbing vent on the roof is messed up or maybe something else?

Thanks

Sylvan

One of the many problems with PVC is that it tends to bend out of shape (gets bellies) and this could cause slight back pitching and thus causes all kinds of bad things to happen to a drainage/venting system
