While preparing to sell my home, I replaced the flooring, which entailed pulling the tiolet up & reconnecting. Naturally a new supply line was used, but when I turned the supply on at the wall, very little water could be heard. So little water, in fact, that it now takes almost 3 hours for the tank to fill to the flushing point. I replaced the supply line, again, thinking maybe the original had some type of blockage. Any ideas? Thanks!!

When you installed the new supply lines and opened the water supply did you take the precaution of disassembling the fill valve to make sure no sediment would block the small orifice that allows water to enter the tank.
If you did not then shut the supply valve ( below left had side of a tank) disassemble the ball ***** /fluid master valve open the valve slowly with a cup over it to allow the water and sediment to flow into the tank rather then hit the ceiling , shut the valve THEN reassemble.
If this doesn't work you may have caused sediment to block the supply valve to the tank BUT that is another story
If all works out why not send a donation to ST Jude's Children's hospital for children with cancer as you just saved around $150 for a plumbing service call

Depends if your main valve is 4" diameter or 5/8 OD and how open is "not fully"
what pressure are you talking about 20 PSI or 85 PSI
How much water will come out of a fire hose size unknown and neither is the supply pressure
