Well, now I feel pretty stupid. Forgot I even mentioned him.

I got an email from this site saying they like to keep personal notes off of here. Sorry if things were too personal. Guess I just like people too much. hahaha.

Thanks again for the advice.

Bet you don't remember me. hehehe I think it was back in winter of 2007 that I got your help because we weren't getting cold water in the shower. Thanks for the help on that.

This is sort of funny. I got on here to see if I could find out why all of a sudden when I flush the toilet, it doesn't fill up with water. The chain is connected and everything else seemed like it's was ok. Well, before finishing this post, I checked again and even though I heard no water filling the darn thing the last time I flushed, there was water in the toilet again. I guess it's just running in super slow.

Since I am here and you are the only one I have ever had posts to and from, I thought I'd ask you a question about this site. How the heck do I get my profile pic off of here to put a new one up. I have looked everywhere in the "edit my profile" section. I see below here how to add a pic on this post. I just want to change the profile one.

Thanks for taking the time.

Hahaha! Nevermind. I scrolled up from that last post. I thought that first pic was on my profile and here I see it was on my very first post on this site. I guess you don't post pics right on the profile. Hey, it's after 4 am here and I've been up most of the night singing online karaoke. I'm tired. At least that's some kind of excuse for my senior moment. lol

Still curious why the toilet fills slowly, though. Does it need new guts? Isn't that the plumbing term? hehe

First off yes I remember you, how can anyone forget that lovely first smile.

second I what do you call a deer with no eyes?

I have no idea of course with your question re how to edit the pictures I guess you can just add more if you like.

About the toilet not filling that would depend on the type of fill valve you have If you have a ballcock type most folks just gentle bend the brass rod up a little and that will increase the height in the tank.

If there is a screw on the valve turning it counter clockwise will also raise the water.

If you have a fluid master there are two types of adjustments.

1- On the stainless steel rod along side the cup (float) you can raise it very gently and that will increase the water in the tank.

2nd choice is a little more complicated and if you send me an E Mail I can better describe how to disassemble it and raise the water level.

Man its cold out side

Hi Mr. Tieger. I guess there was a toilet miracle or something last night because now it flushes and fills just fine. I didn't do a thing. It's probably good if I save your suggestions, though. After all, you're the expert.

Thanks for your help. I think I need to send you an email to discuss the question you asked.

Look for me in your inbox.
