No COLD Water
This is the oddest thing. We have had single digit temperatures all weekend in SW PA with wind chills sub-zero. This morning when my husband got up to shower for work, there was no COLD water. Yeah, no cold water. What's up with that? Obviously, our hot water tank is working and obviously the pipes aren't completely frozen. I have never heard of this. Because of the low temperatures, we are guessing that this is somehow weather-related, but we don't have a clue what to do. I'm not sure if I have time to wait for a response, but I will leave this site up and keep checking back. Can anyone help me? Any help would be very much appreciated.
First off WHAT A GREAT SMILE the BEST I have ever seen on any list
Second leave the C/W faucet open when your home and turn up the heat hopefully it will thaw out without busting a pipe

Thank you, Mr. Tiger, for the compliment. hehehe. And actually, I did exactly what you said and it worked. Thanks for taking the time to answer my post.
Your very welcome with a smile like that I would have drove to PA and I hope your husband enjoys his mixed shower
The same thing has happened to us, hot water no problem, but no cold water. I just wanted to say thanks! I just hope it doesn't take too long, its getting pretty warm.
Hello Mr. Tieger! How the heck are ya? I just was looking at a CD I found where I had some documents listing the user names and passwords for sites I visit. I saw that I had been on this site, and didn't remember why I came here. Well, when I got here, low and behold I found my posts about frozen pipes and your responses.
I just wanted to say hello and I hope your business does very well. Have a great Spring/Summer.

Wow I just saw your posting and wanted to thank you for your thank you?
I am glad it all worked out and before the cold weather comes back your husband should consider insulating the C/W lines or possibly adding heat tape.
Enjoy the summer and have a healthy and happy year

Well, we have working heat tapes from the ground up to our home's inside.
I really like that picture of you, btw.You look like a guy who is pretty happy.
Hey, I was just wondering. How did you know that I'm married? I don't think there is anything on my profile about it.
