I recently replaced my kitchen faucet, including the metal flex line from hot water supply. All was initially fine, but the hot water flow steadily decreases to a trickle. I have reassembled the faucet, replaced the faucet, replaced the flex line. With each attempt the hot water flow starts off fine but shortly thereafter, the flow declines until it is just a trickle again. Help!

Sometimes when an old faucet is replaced the existing Bib screw or other debris may fall down the line action as a flow restrictor.

Also the existing shut off valve may be defective (washer) etc.

I didn't note it earlier but the shut-off value needed to be replaced and I did. I will try to flush the line in hopes to clear any obstruction. Thank you.
