I just had pipes(water pipes) in my crawl space replaced with PEX. What is the best way to insulate PEX pipes? Can heat tape be used on pex? If so, is there a certain heat tape that should be used. Also, what type of insulation would be best. Should I use both heat tape and pipe insulation or would one or the other be O.K.? Any info on this subject would be appreciated. Thanks
