Does a double bowl kitchen sink require two traps? If it's just one, where should the trap go, on the first drain or the second drain? Thanks.

One Trap located closes to the outlet pipe of the waste line and the trap should be placed with in 2 feet of the vent.
They do make a Swivel Tee trap 2" x 1 1/2" x 11/2" or you can use a combinations of fittings like a slip joint brass tee with double offsets or waste bends CHECK local codes and do not forget the dishwater tee is applicable
