We have a new kitchen faucet and when the water is turned on there is a klunking noise in the faucet and the same when the spray is turned on, we thought it was the diverter and had it replaced, but it's still doing it, help.

Under the sink are two shut off valves and they should be Globe pattern as Glove valves are used for throttling and if you use these valves properly and not fully open it should stop the velocity problem of hydraulic shock
