I looked at a bath tub/shower in our guest room. We do not use bath often. Under the tub faucet and under the shower head was a dry green substance on the tub. It would not wash off. I could scape a big off with my figner nail. Hot water did nothing to it . No cleaning product helped.

What is this gunk ? How do I clean and I do I prevent in the future
