We want to move the washer about 5 feet. Can extentions for the water connection be used or should we move the connection. This can be done but is more difficult.

Normally nowater supply problem it is the waste that may be the problem

so its the washer waste that we need to be concerned with? we can move the housing for the water and the waste pipe to the other side of the pipe that it emptys into. Would that be the best?

The washing machine pump is the concern as you do not want to put to much head pressure against it.

Check with the booklet that came with the machine as how far they suggest the drain line can go

I just checked the booklet that came with the washer and it says nothing about the length of the drain hose. I have a front load HE3 that uses very little water. It did say that I can get a 10 foot water fill hose. There is a part number for a drain hose extention kit but it doesn't say how long the extention is
