Two weeks ago I noticed that two of three of my toilet bowls were filling almost to the rim when flushing. Everything eventaully flushes with a good vortex. This occurs even first thing in the morning.
Plungers and drain cleaners had no effect. I checked the vents to assure that there were no obstructions, and there were none. Further, the two problematic toilet bowls have different vent pipes.
Any ideas?

Thanks for the suggestion.
We had put cleaner cakes in the tank some months ago. They had disintegrated to the point where they enterred the tank & were clogging the inlet port at the bottom of the toilet enough to disrupt the creation of the vortex at low levels.
I crushed the remaining cleanser, it cleared the inlet, and all is well.
